CertExams.com Releases CCENT 100-101 Exam Simulator

CertExams.com, a leading network simulator, has released CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician) exam simulator complying 100-101 exam objectives. It may please be noted that the earlier objectives 640-822 will be retiring by 30th of September 2013. The revised sim consists of objective type questions, testlets, and simlets. Most questions carry detailed explanations. The new objectives include several topics like NAT (Network Address Translation), IP v6, variable subnet masking among others. These topics were part of ICND2 exam in the earlier version (642-816).

Practice Tests Dot Info Website Update

The retired exams have also been given at appropriate place for easy reference. Similarly, CompTIA has replaced its old A+ Certification optional exams with new A+ Certification exam. This is to mention a few of the changes that have been carried out on the website.

Vendor practice tests have been updated to align with the changes in the certification exams. The practice tests providers are listed in the exam page for easy comparison. Practice tests vendors include Transcender, Boson, Simulation Exams, UCertify, CertExams, MeasureUp, and others.

SimulationExams.com Releases CCENT (100-101) Practice Tests

SimulationExams.com, a leading practice tests provider,  released practice tests for CCENT 100-101 (2013 Objectives). The new CCENT cert objectives include NAT (Network Address Translation), ACL (Access Control Lists), and VLSM. T The exam topics for  CCENT 100-101 include IP addressing (both IPv4 and IPv6), Switch networking using VLANs and VTP, traffic control using ACLs, and NAT. Detailed objectives may found at here.

Notable difference between the older objectives and the new are that the later includes VLSM, ACLs, and NAT. Earlier, these topics were part of ICND2 exam. It may be noted that Cisco has updated its CCNA track of exams recently. CCNA has been renamed as CCNA Routing and Switching. For obtaining CCNA R&S, one needs to pass two exams, 1) CCENT 100-101, and ICND2 (200-101). One can also take the CCNA R and S exam directly by passing CCNA 200-120 exam. Please be aware that there is significant difference between the old CCNA topics and the new 200-120 topics. Several of CCNP topics have been added to CCNA. These include router redundancy protocols, STP operating, etc.

.NET Update to Practice Test Engine

SimulationExams.com has updated it’s Integrated Test Engine to comply with .NET version 3.51. In the initial phase, CompTIA A+ Essentials, A+ Practical, Network+ Certification, and Security+ Certification have been updated. The software is expected to be more robust with recent changes. Additionally, some new features have been added to the Test Engine. These include User Profile registration for new users.
