The website offers a meeting place for both buyers and sellers of rf and microwave products and services. The website provides a list of rf vendors and manufacturers in various countries including USA, Canada, EU, Singapore, and others.

The website consists of the following sections:

  • Manufacturers
  • Products
  • Services
  • Articles and Tools

The Manufacturers section provides a common platform for manufacturers to show case company profiles and contact information.

The Products section provides the ability to show case products such as cables, cable assemblies, connectors, and components.

The Services section offers you to list the services offered by your company. Typical services include custom made cable assemblies, connectors, and rf assemblies.

The Articles and Tools section provides various articles such as the best practices for cable assemblies, cable measurements, etc.

The responsive design thoroughly revamps the website to comply with Mobile First approach and compatible with various devices such as mobiles, pads, notebooks, laptops, and desktops.

The website TutorialsWeb.com  has undergone a major update towards fully responsive site. A fully responsive site, also called Mobile First, provides uniform appearance on mobile as well as desktop devices.

The website uses HTML5, CSS3, Media Query, and JQuery for coding and breadcrumbs aided navigation for better user experience. Typical screen shots for various devices are given below:

The mobile version of the site consists of the same menu items as that of the desktop site, but customized to the mobile device. The menu is user friend and the web page contents are readily accessible with just scrolling vertically.

As may be seen, the first level menu consists of Certification Notes, Electronic Assembly, Satellite Communications, Computers & Networks, RF Test & Meas, and Software. On clicking the first level menus, a user would be presented with second level menu as shown in the figure below:

For example, the Main Menu tab Certification Notes has four Sub-Menu items, namely, Comptia Certificaiton, Cisco Certifications, ITIL Certifications, and Others. By clicking on respective sub-menu item, one would be taken to the third-level menu link or to the corresponding web page as applicable. In this particular case, third level menu item is presented as shown in the figure below:

The third level menu items consist of A+ Cert Exam, Network+ Cert Exam, Server+ Cert Exam, and Security+ Cert Exam. On clicking the hyperlink, one will be taken to the respective web page as shown below:

The website has been thoroughly updated and reviewed for design and visual interface so that web pages are rendered properly in all possible mobile and desktop devices.

iOS Apps For Cisco CCENT, and CCNA Revised

Anand SoftwareAnand Software recently revised it’s iOS apps for several exam sims. The important updates to the iOS apps include the following:

– New questions added
– Randomising questions in learn mode.
– Night mode and full screen option while taking exam.
– Bookmarking questions learn mode and exam mode.
– Option to retake bookmarked, unanswered or incorrect questions while
taking exam.
– Improved flash cards with support for images.
– Exam configuration (changing exam time and number of questions per exam)

Few of the features are showing in the screenshots below:

    1. Exam - MCQsThe screen displays a Multiple Choice Multi Answer question type.  Two modes are available, one is Learn Mode and the other is Exam Mode. The display pertains to Learn Mode and contains Question ID (unique to each question and used for providing feedback on the question), Flash Card, Exhibit (option), question and answers. The navigation buttons include Show Answer, Notes (which you can enter for future review), Reset (resets the selected answers, Previous, Next, Review (We will see this screen later), and End Exam. The option Send Feedback provides a means to the candidate to seamlessly provide feedback to the author about the specific question without leaving the exam environment.  Feedback, particularly about any errors in the question or flash card is considered immediately. Exam mode is very similar to Learn mode except for a fixed time timer, and the absence of a few options like Show Answer.
    2. Review Exam

As may be seen, candidates have the option to review 1) Bookmarked questions only, 2) Incorrect questions only, 3) Un-answered questions only. These options allow us to review only intended questions and save time and effort in preparing for exam. The question ID is unique and needs to be quoted when reporting any inconsistency or mistake in any given question. We will see a few more such screenshots below.

3. Review Question
The display corresponds to a wrongly answered question. In this example, there are a total of 10 wrongly answered questions. The displayed question ID i 510. If you click on the Explanation, a brief explanation is presented on the displayed question. Right answers are indicated by Green high-light and wrong answers by Red color. Other options in the Nav bar are as usual.

4. Flash card Screen:

This screen corresponds to the Flash card of Question ID 510. The flash cards provide detailed explanation of the answers as well as the topic concerned.
